Old Town Square
Old Town Square is the largest medieval town square in Europe. It is also the most important square in the Czech Republic, and it is where you can find many attractions such as Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, Powder Tower, and the Old Town Hall.
You will find many restaurants around this area with various menus and prices. If you go early enough, you may be able to get some good deals from them!
Charles Bridge
Charles Bridge is a famous landmark in Prague, and it is one of the most beautiful places to check out when you visit Prague. The Charles Bridge is over 1,700 meters long and spans the Vltava River. It was named after Emperor Charles IV, who commissioned its construction in 1357.
The bridge has been preserved since then and has been rebuilt several times due to natural disasters such as fires or floods.
Today it’s an excellent place for walking, riding bikes, or just sitting down to enjoy the view – however you want! And if you’re into taking pictures, this is also a great spot as there are many other tourists around as well – so make sure you look good and get some nice pictures!
Wenceslas Square
Wenceslas Square is the central square of the old city of Prague. It is named after St. Wenceslas, a patron saint of Bohemia and founder of the Přemyslid dynasty.
The statue at its center was initially designed by Josef Václav Myslbek but only completed in 1882 by Czech sculptor Bedřich Bridal.
The mosaic-covered column behind it was built to commemorate the 600th anniversary of his death in 1898 (the year Emperor Franz Joseph visited Prague).
The square is home to many important historic buildings, including St Vitus Cathedral,Old Town Hall with Astronomical Clock, French Embassy (Prague Castle) and National Museum’s Jan Švankmajer Sculpture Garden.
Supernova Music Academy & Bar, Prague’s premier live music venue, hosts local bands and performances by international acts like Sigur Rós.

Powder Tower
The Powder Tower is located in the Old Town of Prague, next to the Charles Bridge. The tower was built on a hill between 1475 and 1478 by King Vladislav II, who ordered it to be decorated with stone reliefs depicting the coats of arms of his family members.
A panoramic view of Prague can be seen from this place. It is one of the best spots to admire Prague’s skyline’s splendid architecture and beautiful setting sun.
The Powder Tower is open daily from 08:00 am until midnight! If you visit Prague during the summer season or when weather conditions are good (dry + warm), I recommend going for a walk up on top of this tower because there’s a fantastic view up here 🙂
Jewish Quarter
The Jewish Quarter is one of the most popular places in Prague. It’s an old and historic part of the city with many restaurants and shops, many historical sites, and tourist attractions. This area is full of Jewish culture and heritage, which makes it an excellent location for souvenir shopping.
Suppose you’re planning to visit Prague and this area during peak season (especially on Saturdays). In that case, we recommend trying to arrive early in the morning so that you can avoid crowds later in the day. The nightlife here is also great because many bars with live music are playing throughout the week!
